In August, I had the pleasure of attending the Sigma Mu Mu Chapter Cookout, and it was a memorable occasion filled with Brotherhood, fellowship, and community spirit. It’s always encouraging to see the great work that the Brothers are doing in their area, and this event was another example of Omega in action.

Making the drive out in Northern Virginia traffic is not for the faint of heart, but the warm welcome and the spirit of camaraderie made every mile worth it. As we like to say, Friendship is truly essential to the soul, and the Sigma Mu Mu Brothers embodied that spirit through their hospitality and their dedication to service.

Events like this remind me of the importance of staying connected with chapters across the District, sharing in their successes, and recording the impact they are making. The Brotherhood is strong, and I am honored to witness and support it.
